Every workshop delivered, every coaching session completed, every community event organised โ€” behind each of these moments is a volunteer who chose to show up. At Stichting NetImpact, volunteers are not peripheral to our work. They are at its very heart.

Who Volunteers With NetImpact?

Our volunteer community is as diverse as The Hague itself. We work with language coaches who share their Dutch expertise with newcomers, e-commerce mentors who have built businesses and want to share that knowledge, event coordinators, graphic designers, translators, legal advisors, and social workers. Many of our volunteers are themselves former programme participants who now want to give back โ€” creating powerful cycles of empowerment.

The Impact of Volunteer Hours

In 2024, NetImpact volunteers collectively contributed over 1,200 hours of their time to our programmes and events. This volunteer contribution enables us to stretch our resources significantly further than would otherwise be possible, serving more community members with the same funding base.

What Volunteering Gives Back

Volunteering with NetImpact is not just about giving โ€” it is also about receiving. Our volunteers consistently report that the experience deepens their understanding of different cultures, builds professional skills in communication and coaching, expands their networks, and provides a profound sense of purpose and connection.
